It screws in through an access hole in the crankcases, front right. This is a unique tool in STAINLESS STEEL that is SAE threaded on one end, British thread on the other. It should work on all Tri BSA vintage triples, to my knowledge. NOT SUITABLE FOR LATE 90s on TRIUMPH!
