The plate has one small chip on the reverse due to it's age and previous use

You coul of course attached screws to the back for wall hanging

They were made from stiffened card and covered in decorative paper or silk fabrics and featured intricate designs, gold tooling and vibrant colours. I have 4 of these rather rare books
